In 2019 Byron struggled to get out of a slump by painting Horrible Cat Portraits. They were not HORRIBLE in the sense that they are grotesque or really really bad. They were marketed as Horrible Paintings so that people didn't have any expectations and Byron didn't have to worry about making the artwork perfect. 

It could be horrible, because it's in the name.
